Fujitsu black batteries AA ×6
We recommend these batteries for the best sound.

One clean outline to every sound. A 30 V supply, dual-rail LDO regulation, and a balanced input delivered as a high-power single-ended output. Our established model, surpassing every earlier SOUND TIGER in power, clarity, imaging, tonal balance and musicality.

Balanced-to-single-ended conversion has three advantages. Battery life is longer and heat is lower (about 9.5 hours, against about 6 hours for a fully balanced design). Images and positioning become even more distinct. And white noise from the DAP tends to cancel out between the + and − signals (this varies by DAP). Combined with the high 30 V supply, the result is a very powerful sound.

A true all-genre amplifier: please listen and judge for yourself. It reaches its full potential after 50 hours of burn-in, and 20 minutes after power-on.
When you switch the power on, the white LED lights. When less than about one hour remains, the white LED blinks to tell you it is time to change the batteries (at under 10% remaining capacity, so this does not cause a memory effect). When the batteries are judged empty, the LED turns red and the amplifier powers off. It recovers when you replace the batteries. An electronic fuse also protects the amplifier circuit from burning out in the unlikely event of a fault.

A switch on the board turns the input attenuator on or off (ON: ×2.56, OFF: ×1.28; shipped ON). If you hear white noise with high-sensitivity earphones, or the volume is too high, try setting all four small switches to OFF together.

Choose the faceplate and body colours when you order.

With an anodized faceplate the price is ¥89,000. Faceplates and bodies are also sold separately: acrylic faceplate ¥2,000 / anodized faceplate ¥8,000 / body ¥3,000 (excl. tax). Please write your choice in the questions box of the order form.

Order them together with the amplifier on the order form. IC cables are sold only with an amplifier; if you already own one of our products, you can buy them as an add-on bundle.

The third-generation standard interconnect cable for SOUND TIGER. It delivers a forward, energetic sound with vocals up close. Connect the labeled end to the DAP.

A high-grade interconnect cable. The conductor is shielded silver-plated 5N OCC, finished with plugs that have a clean, clear character. The low end is not especially strong, but the midrange and treble extend beautifully, making it well suited to vocals and strings. It also has solid resolution. Connect the labeled end to the DAP.

A high-grade interconnect cable for connecting a 3.5mm DAP to the SOUND TIGER series. The pin assignment is the same as the input side of the SE-Attach. Gold-plated copper plugs are used on both ends, and the conductor is shielded silver-plated 5N OCC.

A high-grade interconnect cable for connecting a 2.5mm balanced DAP to the SOUND TIGER series. The 2.5mm input plug is a premium NIDEON plug, and the 4.4mm side uses a gold-plated copper plug. The conductor is shielded silver-plated 5N OCC.

A cable set for using the SOUND TIGER series in 3.5mm single-ended mode. The two cables shown make one set. It can also be used for a 3.5mm connection with the Enthusiast.
Note: with editions prior to the P series, high-impedance headphones may not get enough output and can distort (this causes no damage).
